Bhaskar Law College is named after its founder, Late Sri J.Bhaskar Rao, who rather through a farmer cum Business man and an Advocate ,brought the J.B educational Society with the Lofty aim of Providing the quality Professional Education into existence in 1993 the initiative came from a Friends and his loved family friends emphasized the need to establish a quality and professional educational institution at Hyderabad and its Surrounding Suburban areas of Hyderabad . He believed that higher education must have its foundations deep in national consciousness.
The propitious moment, after few years later on 16th July 2009; He was established Bhaskar Law College affiliated to Osmania University , approved by the Bar Council of India, His detailed “Mission' and 'Objectives' of the Law College to be that:
One of the basic ideals to establish the law college is to achieve an intellectual synthesis of oriental and occidental learning of the best that has been thought of and said, the development of a national ethos, and the creation of an academic and social environment in which 'National Integration' is not a nebulous idea but a tangible reality.
Enhance its beauty. Availability of the latest facilities makes it a very modern , Alumni of the Law College have distinguished themselves in several walks of life; they include outstanding figures in public life, Satisfaction, quite a few of them, who had their higher education and training abroad later, saw that their mission was here and have contributed significantly to the national effort.

First Phase
The first phase was characterized by LL.B – 3 (YDC) (Bachelor Degree of Laws) one section intake of 60 students ,English as the medium of instruction, College as appointed eminent scholars as Faculty in these discipline. It made concerted efforts to attract the best talent and got ratified by the Osmania University Authorities, not only from within the Country but also from outside.
Second Phase
The Second phase of the Law College spans the period 2014 to 2020, In addition to the existing courses, PG Course, LL.M-2 (YDC) Full time Post Graduation Course being added in the area of Corporate Laws. and another section being added to the existing section of LL.B , which means at present 2 section of LL.B with an intake of 120 students.
Third Phase
The period between 2021 to onwards can be considered to be the Third Phase. During this phase, the College also witnessed considerable growth in the intake and New Integrated course of B.A,LL.B-5 years Integrated dual degree course and in research and development activity.
Infrastructure development also got a high priority during the Second phase. The Main Library, with a floor area of 2250 sq.ft. Was commissioned in 2021. The Law College has located in 2 Block (A &B Blocks) Development of infrastructure, mobilization of resources and strengthening of disciplines contributed towards making the College is one of the premier Institute in the state and Country as well.
In tune with the New National Education Policy, the Institution took the momentous decision to grant autonomy to college campus, so as to enable them to be receptive to innovations in their respective fields and to community demands.
